Dj Shaft Reykjavik, Iceland
DJ Shaft born in the States, raised in Germany and living in Amsterdam,NL. He started djing around '95. His friend Pahel of the german rap crew Ruhrpott AG (RAG) asked him to dj at their release party of the debut album "Unter Tage" in 1998. Since then he started to spin more regular at Parties in the Ruhr Area and other places.
From spots as the famous " Waschküche " at Soundgarden Dortmund, Beats &Rhymes Parties in Bochum, to Okinava69 Parties in Cologne and beyond other places. His fathers roots led him to Amsterdam, where new friendships grew and he continued to follow a musical path. There he worked for some years in the music industry as Manager of Fat Beats Amsterdam.
He connected with many national and international artists and although he djs less then in the past, he still organizes parties, events and does bookings. Some of you also know him from creating the famous party in Cologne called Pass The Dutch, bringing the best of the best from The Netherlands. Keep a look out for more to come and you might see him sooner behind the 1 & 2's again, then you think...
